Dear Colleagues,
On behalf of our scientific and organizing committee, it is a pleasure and an honor to add my welcome to all the participants of the first version of the Interprofessional Collaboration in Health Practice, Research, and Education (ICPRE) meeting. ICPRE, as a dynamic meeting, is ready to address ideas, inspire and provide opportunities, share knowledge, develop skills, compare perspectives, examine issues, and exchange experiences related to the emerging healthcare challenges by continuously adapting its multitude of activities to the new world environment
In this meeting, we expect to attract many participants from health practice, academia, research centers, and industry who will come together to share their thoughts and knowledge. Such sharing is crucial for enriching our network and for a healthy and productive collaboration among all these health sectors, which is vital for daily disease prevention and management to maintain and increase its relevance for society’s Health. Therefore, a crucial ambition for our meeting is to involve all members and stakeholders in a transparent and joint effort to educate, train, stimulate and develop our field – ultimately for the benefit of our patients.
ICPRE is now a reality – a group of lively, enthusiastic, ambitious, and hardworking young Saudi healthcare learners has now established this meeting. Our team’s enthusiasm and active participation are our power and the best guarantee to achieve our goals. Through difficult times, the complex and continuous work by our president Dr. Mohammed Al Mohaini has been pivotal for the success of our meeting and for all the activities outlined below – thank you so much for your dedicated effort and great personality, Mohammed! Our planning and executive teams have done a great job under the guidance and support of our Scientific Board Chair, Dr. Sawsan Kurdi, Research Abstract Chair, Dr. Faiza Alotaibi, and our Executive Director, Abdulmonem Alhamdan. I would also like to recognize the excellent job that our leaders (Essa, Eman, Abeer, Reem, Khalid, Alanoud, Latifah, Aseel, Renad, Manar, Abdulmalik, Nada, Bander, Kumail, Anwar, Aljawharah, Amani, Amjad) did in executing so successfully this meeting.
